Minimum hire period is 6 days (5 nights) Please contact direct for long hire discounted rates of over 18 days or for hires shorter than the minimum period.

Likewise, if you do not wish to pay by debit/credit card please contact direct for bank transfer details.

Pick-ups are from 09.00 and drop-offs until 17.00 on the last day. This lets you benefit from a full day of campervan use on both the first and last day of hire. This is a major advantage compared to the usual pick up/drop off times of other hire companies which generally only give part days on the first and last days of hire.

Prices shown are fully inclusive of van hire, all onboard equipment, cooking gas, insurance for 1 driver - everything required for a touring holiday of Scotland including collection and drop off from the local station (just 30 mins from Edinburgh by train) We can supply bedding linen and towels as an option. Late collections and drop offs may be arranged, depending on circumstance an out of hours charge will apply.

The standard Security Deposit is £800 per hire (which includes your Insurance Excess Liability) This is the maximum liability you have to us as the hirer per incidence of damage. You can reduce your Insurance Excess Liability in the event of vehicle damage caused by you due to an `at fault` road accident - often known as a Collision Damage Waiver or Reduction (CDW) to a maximum liability of £375 (first claim only) Further details when you access 'Book Now' This Excess reduction does not include damage to tyres and wheels or damage caused by impact above the window line or windscreen chips or cracks.

The vehicle insurance as included is primarily in place to provide the insurance cover as required by UK law and to insure against vehicle damage and or loss. It is advised that all hirers carry their own separate travel insurance to cover their own personal effects and out of pocket costs not covered under the vehicle insurance as provided by Puffin Campers.
