No, everything you need for your holiday is included - your vehicle, insurance, cooking gas, all onboard camping equipment etc, there is nothing extra to pay. You have an option to hire bedding and towels and extra choice options for insurance - if you choose. These are all shown clearly in the Book Now section but the advertised headline price includes everything else.
No, a 25% deposit secures the booking – the balance is due with 6 weeks to go.
Almost certainly yes. European, US, Canadian, Australian, New Zealand licenses qualify automatically. Any others we may need to refer to our insurers – even in extreme cases there is usually a way.
We are easy to get to – just 32 mins by train from central Edinburgh and collection and return to North Berwick station is included. Our office hours are 09.00 - 5.00 and collections and drop offs are within these times. Airport pick ups and drop offs may be possible by special arrangement and at additional costs. Our access is so easy our customers generally come to us.

Yes, we have dog friendly vans, please note on the Booking Form if you intend to bring your pet. There are a few common sense rules, the dog should not go on the upholstery, should have his/her own basket or blanket (for sleeping) be adequately restrained at all times and not be left alone in the van. There may also be the possibility of additional charges if our cleaners need to do further cleaning.
Yes, there is an option of automatic transmission on Puffin 2 for those drivers who are unable to drive manual gearboxes. If you require automatic transmission please request this before you make a booking (there may be a charge). Puffin 2 Plus all have manual 6-speed gearboxes. All Puffins are easy to drive.
During busy periods and if you have a structured itinerary you may choose to book campsites ahead - although it is generally not necessary and you can book in on the day. If pre-booking you should consider that since the vehicle is effectively a car and will not be connected to the campsite power system (in the case of P2+ you have the choice) you might prefer a tent pitch. This will save you 60-70% of the campsite fee.
In Scotland generally yes and this is a highly recommended way of maintaining flexibility. A strategy of a couple of days wild camping then 1 night in a campsite is a typical strategy. We have extra information on the site explaining this.
